Careysville House
Careysville House sits on an escarpment overlooking the fishery, with stunning views of the Blackwater valley. Guests can look out of their bedroom window and watch the salmon jumping in the pools below. It was built in 1812 in the Georgian style, on the site of an old ruined castle.
Access is via a private drive, ensuring total privacy and peace for guests. It has 4 en-suite twin rooms, 1 en-suite double room & 1 single room with its own bathroom a few steps away. Guests stay on a full board basis and are served lunch in the fishing hut every day.
Fishing Hut
Our fishing hut (once a cricket pavilion) is situated next the river with full vehicle access and parking beside the hut. Amongst its facilities are a stove, kitchen, electricity and a small outside bathroom.
